Join members of the Mount Gravatt Environment Group in Australia’s biggest tree planting initiative, National Tree Day, by planting native shrubs at Mount Gravatt Outlook Reserve.
The group is working to create habitat for small birds.
The Reserve offers spectacular views of the city and surrounding suburbs, including the Moreton Islands and Glasshouse Mountains on clear days.
Members of the group will be walking to the Reserve from Griffith University’s Mount Gravatt Campus Undercroft and volunteers are welcome to join the walk.
Morning tea is provided. Please wear covered shoes and bring water.
