Hardings Paddock is an Ipswich City Council park in the Flinders-Karrawatha corridor.

A very knowledgeable Birds Queensland guide will take participants on the Gamlen Circuit (rated moderate, about 3.5km).

The walk passes through varied habitats including grassy areas, open woodland and forest. The path climbs to a ridge with Spotted Gums and Ironbarks, and travels back down a steep slope.

Expect to see many bush birds including various honeyeaters, lorikeets, robins and Grey-crowned Babblers, and record about 50 bird species. The walk finishes with morning tea at the picnic ground.

Event hosted by Birds Queensland.
